# Reset partially played music?

Server Version#:plex-media-server-plexpass 1.23.4.4712-1
Player Version#: Latest Mac, Latest Mac PlexAmp
Some of my mp3s are showing as being partially played. Plex starts playing them from the latest point, not the beginning. It never resets, and I can’t see how to reset them manually, is there a way? Or can I simply never listen to those whole songs again?

[Edit your music library](https://support.plex.tv/articles/200289266-editing-libraries/ "Edit your music library")
go to the “Advanced” tab
DISable “Store Track Progress”
Never activate this checkbox, except in a library for audio books or radio plays etc.

Is this also going to make it so it doesn’t keep track of where I was in my movies?

it’s a setting on the server. per library.

No, this is a property of your _music_ library.

Properties of your libraries are edited using the plex web app [https://app.plex.tv](https://app.plex.tv)
(as are all other server-related administrative tasks)
