# Reset Plex

Do you want to annihilate all the settings?

Anywho…

A total annihilation of Plex and all settings including the database

- Exit Plex

- Uninstall Plex

- Reboot system

- Delete the registry key `HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Plex, Inc.\Plex Media Server`

- Delete the folder  
`%LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server`

`HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Plex, Inc.\Plex Media Server`  
`%LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server`
