hello so I always delete the movie collections when plex make it automatically but now I decided that I want the movie collection. I tried to refresh all metadata but its only recovering the new posters without the movie collections
I am sure that the box is checked to download movie collection. actually I cannot uncheck the box its always checked

Try a different avenue:
Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - ‘Plex Movie’
then click on the small cogwheel icon at the end of the line ‘Plex Movie’
Plex Dance means the data will be removed and the movies will be added again from scratch ? this will take long time cause I have 3400 movies
the other thing I tried to do a new category and called it movie 2 and I added all my library again so plex started fetching all these photos but still it didn’t fetch the collections soo weird
Yes. The other way would be to remove the library and create it anew.
Perhaps your server cannot reach TheMovieDatabase? Are you using IPv6 already? If so, try disabling it.
