# "resume" does not work on RasPlex 1.8.0

Hello,
I noticed that the “resume” function does not work on my rasplex client OpenPHT(1.8.0)@RaspberryPi(3). Server on version 1.7.4.4017
Same OpenPHT client on WIN10 works perfect: I can stop/start/resume
If I want to resume on my RasPlex client, it indicates that it should start on time x, but it starts actually at the beginning. So the client “knows” the starttime, but ignores it.

I noticed that the above mentioned problem was with a specific movie: a 2-disc DVD converted to two \*.mkv files with handbrake. Maybe this is the problem?

can you paste the movie info?
is your server transcoding?
I never encountered that issue in rasplex but I know some movie formats like mpegts doesn’t support resuming as they were designed for broadcast streaming

Mine does this for every file type. I cannot resume or even fast forward. If I try to fast forward by sliding the bar it just crashes
