Rolodex / Quick Navigation / Jump Letters Not Working in Web Player

The display or not of the Rolodex / Quick Navigation / Jump Letters is inconsistent between the Web Player and Desktop Player when viewing music by All, Albums, by Album Artist. In the Desktop Player on macOS and Windows the jump letters are seen. In the web player they are not.

I use Plex for hosting all of my ripped CDs and they are very helpful for jumping to an artist name so I can then pick an album from that artist.

The attached screenshots show the Web Player and Desktop Player running on the same machine showing the same library. Note the lack of letters along the right side near the scroll bar on the Web Player.

Server Version#: 1.18.8.2461
Web Player Version#: 4.6.21
Desktop Player Version#: 1.6.3.1009-57cf57c8 (Windows 10 x64)

This issue is already known, a fix is in the pipeline.
It will arrive in a new server software version.

Wonderful! Thank you, OttoKerner. I couldn’t find it elsewhere so I spun up this new thread. Thanks for the quick response!

I have the same problem but with movies. It used to work but it just disappeared one day. What could make it disappear? Is it easy to get the a-z back? The a-z list did not show up until I accessed Plex from an old PlayStation 3. The interface was completely different. Once access from PlayStation happened, the interface on the Samsung smart TV changed. Is there somewhere to “reset” or select the theme I prefer?

The letters only appear if you have sorted your library by TITLE.

Thanks Otto,

It was sorted by Title but selecting title to reverse the sort brought the a-z back.

THANKS!
James
