Running and Registering Multiple servers

Hi all, I currently am running a full up to date server off of my gaming PC. I am now recovering from an injury and setting up a server with a brand-new domain etc. I have decided to install a whole new Plex server, however for some reason I am unable to register the new server with my account. Has anyone had experience with this?

things to note on new server.
OS: server 2022 core (no desktop GUI)
Server version 1.32.8.7639
Also Using How to Run Plex Media Server as a Windows Service - Plexopedia to run the server as a service.

Steps I have taken
installed the server, and the program to set it up as a service

remoted into web ui from another machine (as I can’t do it on local machine due to only being server core)
at the login screen I got the following info
“This application is at “LocalIP” and is not hosted by Plex. Continue only if you recognize this server and wish to grant access.”

However when I log in it doesn’t register the server it just goes as finds the old one and won’t register this one.

Someone did suggest to try incognito mode which came up and did the same thing. No option to add the second server to my account.

Is this something Plex can do or am I going to have to take down the old server and register this one?

This is to be expected. You’d have to establish a “tunneled” connection, in order to appear as if being local on the server for the initial setup and claiming.

Where are you hosting the server?

Thanks mate. Your help was much appreciated.
I noticed the article said it can still be done from another computer i just have to get a setup plex.html file out of app data. Ill give a few things a shot tomorrow.

It seems the headless environment might have been an after thought. Man this one has stumped me. Cheers for the article.
