Server Version#:1.25.6.5577 Have just upgraded to a Sagemcom 5866 with Vodafone from the slower NBN service. however, know I am having issues as remote access does not work. I am not tech-savvy, so just want an easy fix as fast. I assume you entered remote IP as `1.1.1.1` by a mistake in the port forwarding rule? ---

Contact Vodafone and ask them if your router is connected through [Carrier-Grade NAT](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrier-grade_NAT). And if it is, ask them if they can provide you with a publicly accessible IPv4 address instead. [P.S. and remove that “1.1.1.1” from your port forwarding rule. It ensures that this rule will never work.] ---

Thank you, will contact vodafone and ask. And report back. However i was using a dd-wrt and it was fine so why now though? P.s. I dont have 1.1.1.1 entered ---

With old nbn i bridged the dd-wrt and it worked fine. Same isp, have changed carrier. Appreciate everyone’s time, neverless i will ring vodafone to ask. Tried to connect the ww-drt to 5866 firstly but whateveri tried it wouldnt be accepted by the 5866. I ave dis overed that i do t need a von in router and for some unknown reason streaming sites work on tv. Hence just like the 5866 to be able to accept remote. ---

This mught be unrelavent but i still have access remotely to my laptop from outside the home using vnc viwer. So i dont see why having so much issues with plex. ---

This would be similar to Plex’s [Relay connection](https://support.plex.tv/articles/216766168-accessing-a-server-through-relay/). It’s possible PMS was working previously through the [relay connection](https://support.plex.tv/articles/216766168-accessing-a-server-through-relay/) and you just didn’t notice. ---

Isp, carrier im referring to the same. Im saying that i have been with vodafone before the new 5G modem upgrade ---

That’s the only reason I can think it worked before. Edit - Another reason is if you have a static IPv4 address from them. That would be unusual but possible. With the 5G service, they may have changed it on you. ---
