I’ve chosen a program to record from CWTV “In the Dark” off of the Live TV and DVR section. This program name was used several years ago by another program on BBC. The Poster and episode info come from the old BBC program. I went to edit the poster and found one for the proper show, but still can’t make the episode info correct… it lists the info from the BBC episode. Suggestions?

Thetvdb doesn’t have that show listed yet (released 04/04/2019). You will have to wait til someone adds the CW’s 2019 In the Dark series. Guess you could add it if you want to.

Though, when it gets added I’m sure it’s gonna be called `In the Dark (2019)`

I found this on TVDB: [www.thetvdb.com/series/in-the-dark-2019](https://www.thetvdb.com/series/in-the-dark-2019), but I don’t know the setup of TVDB as far as adding or modifying…

You are right. You must name it `In the Dark (2019)`.
Plex should see it.

Well, I’ve never added/modified TVDB, so now’s the time to learn!

I looked in edit mode and the name IS “In the Dark (2019)”.

Now what?

True but in this case, you do not have to. It’s there on thetvdb.
My mistake was to search for `In the Dark`. Right now the site won’t do pattern match…

easy. [The Plex Dance ™](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064)

Be sure you name the folder `In the Dark (2019)` before adding it back into plex library.

Interestingly enough the folder WAS properly named. However, I moved the media files out, cleaned house, and when I brought them back and refreshed the metadata all is right with the world. Perhaps the show was first downloaded before it reached TVDB and it never updated. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
