I’ve had some trouble the last week with Plex. I’m running a QNAP with Plex as a docker container. I have tried both the official Plex container as well as the LinuxServer one and both have the same issue.
The TV I’m using is a Samsung UA4J6200, I’m running the Plex app (v 2.012). My TV says this is the latest app, although I have seen references to newer versions?
The issue I seem to have is that I can run a video without problem for about 3-4 minutes before playback completely stops, and the TV app seems to freeze. After that the TV refuses to connect to Plex, and the only way to do so is to uninstall/re-install the app. It then lasts 3-4 minutes before doing it all over again. This has only started in the 5 days.
I’m at my wits end, I’m playing it through Chromecast at the moment, but the playback quality is poorer than through the TV app.
Any possible solutions people may have will be greatly appreciated.
