I’ve installed the Plex app on 2 new Samsung TV’s and I can’t find the Live TV in the app. Is this supported? If not, when would it be available?

Live TV is currently supported on the following Plex apps:

Android (mobile) *
Android TV *
Apple TV
iOS
Plex Web App *
Roku *
Xbox One *
- These apps support time shifting of live TV from the beginning of a recording. Other apps support time shifting from the point where the live TV stream was started.
If not, when would it be available?
Plex doesn’t publish roadmaps / future availability dates.

I’ll second the LG app getting Live TV / DVR functionality.
The current LG app is starting to look a bit old at this point. Not that it matter much but Emby just released a new app for LG Smart TVs (WebOS) about a month or so back. Perhaps this will help inspire Plex in this regard.
+1 for LG as well.
Currently using a Nvidia Shield on all my TVs, luckily the LG remote works well with the Shield so its good enough for now.
