"Scan library files" crashing plex

Server Version#: 1.14.1.5488
Player Version#: web - 3.93.1

Seems that the connection to the database is eventually timing out:

This happens a little while after clicking “Scan library files” (a tv shows library). It means that right now it never finishes scanning the entire collection.

The only way to get back into plex is by restarting it.

I’ve tried an optimize of the database and I can upload log files if that helps. I just wasn’t sure if there was anything sensitive in them so I haven’t uploaded them in this post.

Any help is much appreciated

That doesn’t look like a proper PMS log file output.

May I have the actual DEBUG logs? (the entire ZIP file please)

Yes, sorry. That was actually the output of running journalctl -u plexmediaserver -f.

Should I post the zip file here, or should I send directly? I’m not sure if there is any personal info in it.

Unless you checked the box in your Settings - Server - General, no personal data (except Plex name/email ) would be in them.

If you prefer, I will open a DM thread with you to submit your logs with.
