Server Version#: Player Version#: Normally the scanner adds movies ok. But will not add redemption.mp4 It I search in plex player, it finds that name in the plex movies & tv section and not my “movies” library. Not sure why this is happening. The scanner log files only have the header showing the plex info and cpu , os, etc. No scans of content. I tested the db for coruption. Just seems it is matching the title in the plex online and skips finding in my local library. John ---

Thanks for replying. I searched hummingbird , not found. That is the movie… I renamed hummingbird.mp4 , rescan and still not added. Searched again for hummingbird and not found. Some containing that in a title of a Web show or podcast, but no exact matches. Could it be something wrong in the file properties etc.? Thanks John ---

You need to name properly the folder and the file: Folder / File.extension Title (Year) / Title (Year).mp4 ---

OK, when I get back home I will try the rename and moving all the files out, do the “dance” and then move back and scan. It will take awhile as there are over 1200 titles. Files on nas and plex on pc with i7 lots of ram etc. I’ll post after I’m able to do that. (A lot for 1 file 😐 ) John ---

Moving the 1 file did the trick. I moved the file I optimized the db I cleaned bundles I move the file back I scanned the folder “movies” And now it shows up just like it should. Thank you very much for the help! ! John ---
