# Seagate One Touch

I have just purchased the Seagate One Touch 8tb HDD and am trying to install the plex server on it but am going round in circles to work out how to do it. I am using a Mac. Does anyone have any ideas and can provide a step by step idiots guide please

That’s a hard drive, not a NAS.
So you cannot run Plex directly on it.
What you might be able to do, is to store your media files on it, and point Plex, (which has been installed onto your Mac) to them.
