# Search capabilties for DLNA Plex Server

Hi all,

It seems that the DLNA server does not offer a search function.

In the case of using a DLNA server in a hi-fi environment, this prevents searching and manipulating music in thousands of songs.

Is it possible to connect the search already on Plex to the DLNA server?

With this feature, plex could compete with Roon on the HiFi audio library segment
