# Search within metadata fields

Using the search box, I seem unable to successfully search for content using terms appearing in cerain metadata fields: summary field, collection, tagline field, etc.

Is it possible to do? Is this a feature that could be included?

Tested this without success using the search box in Android app, as well as the Synology server app.

Running Plex server v 2.4.39

+1 Search within Plex is limited only to title search, which is shame. It would be really helpful to be able searching all fields, especially summary. Not only it would be easier to find what you looking for but it could be used for easier library organizing, for example, filtering keywords from plot to make new collections.
