Literally you have to seem to have the ‘guide’ displayed before I can do a search that will find ‘transplant’ the new CTV show. If I have DVR Schedule showing - the search shows nothing. Very strange!!
If you click “Search all sources” after typing the search, it will show the Live TV & DVR results. Before:

The strange thing is that after doing this once, subsequent searches for different shows will show Live TV & DVR results without having to select “Search all sources.” At least until the web client is reloaded.
There is something wonky going on with searching for sure. Consistent I understanding, random/changing behavior not really a programmable feature usually.

Ok, could be. But I’m skeptical. I discovered tonight that the primary search in my #1 screenshot above works as I would expect, but only after the first search. So if I search the first time, I don’t get results. Run the exact same query from that same search a second time, I get the results I would expect. It depends on the client, true for Plex for Windows 1.8.2 but not Plex Media Player 2.46.
My video was actually using the web client. But it’s interesting you mention that…Behavior is exactly the same on the standalone app as it is on the web client. I just can’t imagine that doing something a 2nd time in exactly the same fashion should ever lead to different results. Smells like a bug.
