Season Match Error

So I have a weird issue. Just updated to the latest version client and server this morning, (PlexMediaServer-1.21.1.3830-6c22540d5-x86_64 on server).

For the original 1985 MacGyver, whether I get data from TMDB or TVDB doesn’t seem to matter, the show shows up as individual episodes not seasons within episodes. The really interesting part, on my Roku client, each episode shows up with a number S1 E1 for example, but on the computer, the names of the episodes and their descriptions all pull in as would be expected.

I have everything named according to guidelines, and this is the only show where I have had this issue.

Would you mind sharing some more details… I’m not exactly sure what you mean the show is displayed as episodes, not seasons?!
How exactly did you name/organize your episodes?

The files are named exactly like all of my others:

\MacGyver\Season 01\S01E01 - Pilot.mkv \MacGyver\Season 01\S01E02 - The Golden Triangle.mkv ... \MacGyver\Season 07\S07E14 - The Mountain of Youth.mkv

The descriptions of every episode show up correctly with a name match. If I do Seasons instead of shows on Roku, they all show up, with artwork. When I am in show view, all other shows appear as X Seasons, and when you open them show up with the seasons, and episodes inside of each season. With this show, in show view it just shows up as 100+ episodes, multiple saying Episode 1, but still in season order…it is very strange.

I’ve tried removing, cleaning the database and readding to no avail.

Can you please take a screenshot of this. also of one of the episodes get info screen

What BigWheel said
Also… can you take a look at the show’s advanced information? I’m in particular interested in what you’ve set as Seasons parameter (... > EditAdvanced > Seasons). From what you describe it sounds like this is set to Hide.
