Good morrning. Could I offer a friendly suggestion, please?
I have just upgraded my Synology NAS to DSM v7.0.1, but I’ve had to redo absolutely.everything. I’m not really that fussed, and I’m pressing on putting it all back, but thought on reflection, the following would be a good idea for the devs to implement to make it sightly easier for some people.
I’m probably the only peson in the world who does it, but when I buy a season on blu-ray, I type the rear cover’s summary text to a .txt file and save it to the same folder I store the media as Description.txt and copy it to the season’s metadata. Yes, I know Plex sort of downloads the Summary info for a series as a whole, but not the summaries for _each_ season. Would it be possible to add a feature to look for this (or similar) when the metadata is refreshed? I’ve looked in [https://support.plex.tv/articles/200220717-local-media-assets-tv-shows/](https://support.plex.tv/articles/200220717-local-media-assets-tv-shows/) but while extremely useful, I figured this wasn’t a thing.

What agent are you using for your tv-show library?
It appears the `Plex TV Series` agent will load season titles as well as descriptions (if available). I’ve double-checked this for a sample of my shows and found season descriptions for all except a few “Specials” seasons.
Not to diminish your suggestion – just to add some context (which might save you some work in the future 😉 )

I’ve rarely seen _season_ descriptions on the online data sources. Yes, they exist – but they’re not as prevalent.
