I just got a new TV so thought that may be the problem. The Plex app can see my video files but when I try to play them it says “Playback Error - An unexpected playback problem occurred” Is anyone else getting this? ---

@dstanleytv Plex Media Server version? See [Authorized Devices](https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/devices/all). Plex Media Server platform (Windows/Linux/etc)? Are you using the Plex app on the TV? If so, make & model? Plex client version? See [Authorized Devices](https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/devices/all). ---

Hi FordGuy61 Here is the information that I have for you 1.18.4.2171-ac2afe5f8 Plex Media Server PC Windows 10.0 (Build 19043) I use the app on the TV not through the web browser (though the problem is the same there) I have been using Plex now for at least 3 years on my old Samsung TV. On the weekend we got a new Samsung TV model HW-Q600A/XY, I was able to download the Plex app and it is reading my files on the computer. When I go to play the files they won’t play it comes up with the error message “Playback Error An unexpected playback problem occurred” I can play the files on my computer through Plex. I hope this information helps you out for me to get sorted as I LOVE using Plex. dstanleytv ---

Are you running Plex Media Server on the Windows PC? If so, download and install the current version, 1.23.5.4841, from [Media Server Downloads | Plex Media Server for Windows, Mac, Linux, FreeBSD and More](https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/). If not on Windows, what platform? Can you update to the current version? ---
