I like this feature. It would help with Parental Control when you force-stop a video and send a message, “You’re suppose to be doing school work,” or “You’re suppose to be sleeping!” Not a small message window, up for a few seconds. A large box that you need to click “OK” to get rid of the message.

I host a plex server for a lot of friends and being able to put up welcome messages would be awesome. People have offered to donate money for server costs and having a banner for maintenance notifications and a link to donate would be so cool.

I found this thread because I was hoping it was something that was being worked on. Given the length of time and lack of response I’m guessing it isn’t going to happen.
