# Separate Tv Programmes

Hello all, under my Tv Programmes I have a cartoons section which I would like to separate from the rest of the programmes. Current directory structure:
```auto
\Media
\Media\TV Shows\Cartoons\
\Media\TV Shows\Cartoons\Bugs Bunny\
\Media\TV Shows\Cartoons\Johnny Bravo\
\Media\TV Shows\Westworld\
```
What happens is that plex merges all the sub directories under Cartoons under one single show and puts together all e.g.: Season 01s
How can I separate this? as I would like to keep the Cartoons directory as I don’t want them mixed with other Tv Programmes

Don’t use arbitrary subfolders to “group” related tv shows together.
i.e. get rid of that `Cartoons` subfolder.
```auto
\Media
\Media\TV Shows\Bugs Bunny\
\Media\TV Shows\Johnny Bravo\
\Media\TV Shows\Westworld\
```
* * *
Alternatively, put the cartoons into a separate _main folder_ and add this main folder independently to your Plex library.
```auto
\Media
\Media\TV Shows\ <-- add this folder
\Media\TV Shows\Westworld\
...
\Media\TV Cartoons\ <- add this folder additionally
\Media\TV Cartoons\Bugs Bunny\
\Media\TV Cartoons\Johnny Bravo\
```
