# Series named wrong

Server Version#: 4.89.1  
Hi, all I have a problem I have to upload my tv series correct and for some reason it produces the original titles rather than the named ones. This only happened with this tv series  
For example, it should read the name and the episode underneath for that episode, but it shows as DVD\_vidio-title Episode 01

sounds like your files contain embedded metadata… some apps write that into the file based on how they first suggest to name the files. You could try removing that or configure Plex to ignore embedded/local metadata in the library’s advanced tab.
