By client, this is the actual thing you use to watch your media on. - Do you open a web browser, type in (either) numbers or app.plex.tv? (This is the “Web” client) - Do you click a Plex icon to run a specific program to watch things? (Plex-For-Windows client) ![plex](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/plex/original/4X/7/5/8/758e834e6488efc7a87849f9aeb41164c8b11162.png) What I suspect might happen, if you changed nothing with your VPN, might be an issue that came out this last week, where Chrome blocks access to local devices on your network unless you explicitly allow it. Even if the server is on the same computer, even if the media is on a drive hooked up, the browser is unable to access the server if you block it’s “network” traffic.
