# Server Constantly Scanning Files

Server Version#: Version 1.31.1.6716 - beta channel on Plex Pass  
Player Version#: Version 4.100.1 - Web

Recently, my Plex server has been continuously scanning my files and sending requests to the Plex servers from looking at the logs.

It’s been doing this for multiple days. I’ve canceled the scan, but it keeps coming back. It happens with both my Movies & TV libraries.

Optimizing my database did not help.

I can upload [server logs,](https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/) but I prefer to know which files to upload, so I can redact them if needed.
