# Server doesn't come online

I have an old computer running Linux, 24.04.05. I’m not a linux expert by any means, but do ok. The Linux PC is my Plex server, and all my material is just in a directory. I’m not running a docker or anything crazy. After reboots, sometimes it tells me my server is unavailable. At one point I just created a new server and pointed it to the same directories, and that worked. But now sometimes one “server” comes online vs the other. The thing is, I want my old server back, as I did a bunch of organization on some of my kids sports events that I have in there. Custom names, posters, etc. Those don’t show up on the “new” server.

How can one “server” be online and one offline when it’s the same PC, pointed at the same directories? How do I even start troubleshooting this?
