# \[Server\] Last.fm scrobbling

We've got a Last.fm agent for the library metadata, but no way to scrobble played music automatically to last.fm
I think this would be a great addition to the server.

about as likely to happen as trakt integration into the server is to happen :P

+1… It’s one of 2 reasons that I still run my subsonic server. The other is their (superior) buffering scheme (at least while driving).

I have both and have used both. (Although I use Pandora now) Subsonic is really, really good at the Music Thang, Plex is stupidly good with the Video Thing :)

Seems it can be done...
I had some success recently when I was testing Jesse Ward's python script on my windows plex media server:
