Strictly follow Plex Naming and Organization Guidelines for Series & Season Based TV Shows.

You may have to Plex Dance the files after making any changes in order to clear incorrect metadata from the Plex database.

Non-standard naming & organization eventually breaks. Plex is picky with TV shows, especially those with multiple reboots, such as The Twilight Zone. I added the original The Twilight Zone to a TV library, let Plex download metadata, etc, then added the 2019 version, all following recommended naming. Plex correctly identified each series and organized them correctly. No splitting. No fixing matches. Glad you have things working. But just note if you follow the recommendations you’ll have…
