# Server rental

So I’ve quickly come to realize that a standard residential uplink very quickly leaves much to be desired when I am remote streaming, especially my 4k content. I like to remote stream my 4k content.
I’m thinking about leasing a server to run plex. I would love some recommendations to companies/providers that other Plex users have been happy with.
If there is anything regarding this idea I should be aware of, please advise, thanks.

OVH VPS with cloud storage I use Rclone +crypt to handle sync and mounting with encryption.

I’m using zxplay tier 3 and my storage is with amazon cloud. Not had any issues with this setup at all although I don’t currently stream 4K so unable to comment on that yet.

SoYouStart and Kimsufi are OVH company mid and low cost dedicated server. Worth a look.
I pay 15€/ month for a dedicated with 2tb storage (i5 and 16gb ram). Your server can be in France or Canada.
