Server Version#:4.3.2-70 Player Version#:All We had a weird power surge and now all of a sudden Plex won’t show up on any of my devices. However, on a PC if I put in the server IP and port, it works fine in every way. FWIW, I’ve only ever used this server on my internal network. I don’t know if this is worth mentioning, but in the past I had certain devices stop working randomly and I was able to fix that by disabling Secure Connections in the network settings. That’s still the case. I really don’t want to have to uninstall Plex, unless there’s a way to save my library metadata. Also, Jellyfin still works on the same server, so it can’t be a network issue. ---

First thought in my head is it became unclaimed. The Syno package installer has a non-destructive way of uninstalling then reclaiming as you reinstall & resume. ---

The log files are 8.4 MB, how do I get past the 8MB limit? If it’s unclaimed, what is the solution? ---

Logs should be 5MB when zipped by the Syno so curious at that. to fix the unclaimed part. @ericalexander4 I found the size problem. Seems you have a duplicate set of logs underneath the logs (doubled the size) With PMS stopped, just delete everthing under `Logs`. That’ll fix it. You’re running 1.18.5. This is the _bare minimum_ version as of a year ago. I do not know how much longer it will last. I also know that Synology is about to EOL DSM 6. Our Engineering will likely EOL DSM 6 as well. I support either of two paths: 1. Upgrade now to 1.32.8 (DSM 6) and prepare to stay there 2. Upgrade to DSM 7.2.1 (if you can else you’ll get forced to 7.2.2) – The syno downloads page might still have 7.2.1 for the DS918+ – 7.2.1 would be an OK place for you to sit for a while until DSM 8 The server is talking but it doesn’ show what it’s doing. Okay, I was initially confused by the version number you’re reporting because in the Synology it reports as version 4.3.2-70. However, I see when I scroll down in that same window it reports the number you mentioned. After stopping and restarting Plex, in the Plex browser is said there was a new version to download and that number was 1.40.5.8921-836b34c27-x86\_64\_DSM6. Is that how I should upgrade, with that download? I’ve only ever installed packages using the Synology package center. ---
