# Server suddenly buffering a lot

Server Version#: 1.25.3.5409  
Player Version#: All

I’ve been rocking the Hetzner-GDrive-rClone-Cloudflare thing for a few years now (anyone remember Plexguide?) and it worked amazingly well, but recently it buffers so much that it is borderline unplayable, no matter what device I play on (Android TV, PS5, Android phone, Web, Windows client, Xbox, you name it). It used to play even 4K direct stream without any problems, but now I need to practically transcode everything to 360p if I want to watch.

Looking at the console the only errors that I am noticing are:

SSDP: Error parsing device schema for http://docker\_ip:34400/device.xml  
Error issuing curl\_easy\_perform(handle): 28

I am at my wits end here. I’ve updated everything, I’ve restarted everything. Cleared my Cloudflare cache. Rebuilt the docker container. Any help?

Your logs show:

1. QSV is not available for HW transcoding
2. Video is being reduced to 720p per the player limitation
3. Audio is being transcoded from 6 → 2 channel per device limitation.

So the problem might be that QSV thing. I know about the 720p and the Audio transcoding. Thing is, even with the transcoding the streams used to run very smoothly. It’s just the last few weeks where nobody could watch, even when I do direct play.
