# Severe battery drain on Android 7.0

Hi,  
I’ve got the latest Plex App installed on my Galaxy S7 Edge and have to constantly kill the app to prevent it from eating my battery. The total connection time shown in the stats is far more than the length of time I use the application; this has been an issue for months now. I’ve also noticed the Plex app trying to sync a lot more frequently than normal too.

Any ideas?
