I’ve shared media with a friend and when the album I’ve shared is opened in a browser the track list displays beautifully though won’t play. ---

And? So? Therefore? Without a LOT more details and logs I doubt the question can be answered except by an outright guess. ---

Are you talking about the option to share a link to an artist/album/track from within Plexamp? That’s just that… a link to an online listing… you’re not actually sharing media from your library. ---

“Sharing” a media title and “granting access” to media (if it’s stored on your own Plex server) are two different things now. Sharing is for notifying your friends about a track, album, artist, movie etc. e.g. “this album is awesome!”, or maybe “this episode blows” See [Discover Together Beta : Announcement & Feedback](https://forums.plex.tv/t/discover-together-beta-announcement-feedback/800886/1) “Granting access” makes media available for streaming from your server. Importantly, if your friend has Plexamp installed and has access to that item in yours (or any other) library, the link will open directly in Plexamp rather than opening the web listing. ---
