Hey Plex,

I have had to rebuild my server a few times as I ran out of hard disk space or insert other reason. I created a script that takes my deployment time down from about an hour to 5 minutes; however, I would like to requests a standard download URL for latest versions of plex.

I am using wget right now to download a static version of plex; however, I am wanting you guys to deploy or create a "/latestversion URI so when I reference a version RPM it always gets that latest version for deployment/install.

Example:
#Download PlexMediaServer
Current:
wget [https://downloads.plex.tv/plex-media-server/1.13.9.5439-7303bc002/plexmediaserver-1.13.9.5439-7303bc002.x86\_64.rpm](https://downloads.plex.tv/plex-media-server/1.13.9.5439-7303bc002/plexmediaserver-1.13.9.5439-7303bc002.x86_64.rpm)

#Download PlexMediaServer
wget [https://downloads.plex.tv/plex-media-server/currentversion](https://downloads.plex.tv/plex-media-server/currentversion) (or something to that effect).rpm

Is this a feature or is this something you can look into?

If you built it once, made backup tarballs periodically, PMS can be installed cold from backup in under 2 minutes. Relatively trivial in a short script.
