Server Version#: PlexMediaServer-1.29.1.6276-4a96dd5b1-x86\_64 Player Version#: Latest The latest version of either the qnap server or the Nvidia Shield bring up an error and will not play any file with audio format E-AC-3 ! 2 questions 1. Is there a fix or a setting I am missing ? 2. Is there any software that can search new files to see the audio format. ( A program call Box4 can easily convert from E-AC-3 to AC-3 once I can find them ! Tdarr can find and amend but is unstable. ---

1. On nVidia Shield, there is an audio setting called ‘Dolby Audio Processing’. It is enabled by default. If you have an Atmos/DD+ capable receiver or TV connected to the Shield, this option should be disabled or unexpected thing could happen when playback DD+ (E-AC-3) audio. 2. MediaInfo app can show you the information. ---
