I’m not able to see my Nvidia shield tv server on the plex.tv web client any longer. When I first ran the shield server, I was able to see and add my content and customize etc. I have been enjoying this content no problem on the Nvidia shield. It is updating with content I move across to my NAS as well. All are on my home network.
I need to fix some mismatched content that I can see on the Nvidia shield plex - how do I do this if I can’t see it in the list of servers available?
I have logged in and out of my plex account and on the Nvidia shield tv server but still nothing. I suspect it might be something to do with secure connections settings? Messing with this hasn’t changed anything.
My setup is that I am running a plex server on the NAS (for the bedroom) and now have an Nvidia shield for the lounge as the NAS couldn’t cope with the odd occasion I needed to transcode two streams. The NAS server is now the only one shown in the web client.
When I try and log into plex.tv/web using the IP address for the shield, the available servers also only shows the NAS.
At this point, I give up and I am not sure what is going on? Any help would be much appreciated!
