# Shuffle & random start time

Would love to see an option to have Shuffle (for movies and TV) start at a random point of the media it's shuffling.

Sometimes I just don't want to have to choose what exactly to watch and would love to see Plex find a random point

in some random TV or Movie so I can skip around my media library. Shuffle has been helping this but always starting

at the beginning isn't random enough for me.

&nbsp;

That being said, is there anyway to create a Playlist and hack the list's start times?

This sounds like psuedoTV, I'm pretty sure there is a thread on it somewhere.
