I am having trouble playing any kind of movie on Rasplex on my RP2 over Wifi, download speed is \<1mbit (the movie freezes and barely plays). Things I have tried: - checked router: plex over wifi to other LAN devices is normal (50mbit/s). Tried FTP transfers to Rasplex, speed is only 50 kib/s - changed my RP2 wifi dongle to Edimax EW-7811Un (11n mode, signal strength is -45db, no channel interference) - no transcoding (only direct play) - have the latest Rasplex, plex server versions - tested the SD card (class 10, normal speeds) - tested the charger (2A, no rainbow) - reflashed Rasplex with default settings Nothing seems to work and I am out of ideas. ---

Try changing the WIFI channel on your router. You may be getting lots of interference on the one it auto chooses. I still recommend not using WIFI on a RPi. You are far better served just using ethernet (Even with ethernet over power lines). ---
