Smart Collections are fantastic, but after a lot of use they quickly add up in quantity and become harder to manage in one long list. Would love to be able to group them into folders… then I could put all Smart Collections for DIRECTORS together and all for CINEMATIC UNIVERSES together, etc. Would greatly cut down on clutter and easily let a user drill down to what they’re looking for. ---

A request for the same feature exists already, and it has more votes. > [@Nested Collections](https://forums.plex.tv/t/nested-collections/354043/1): > > A nice feature(for me at least) would be to have collections inside collections. For example. Have one overall collection called Star Wars, with the Prequel, OG, and new trilogy collections inside of it. Same kind of thing for the LotR/Hobbit movies. I’m sure others will find other uses for it. Maybe genre collections, actor collections, etc. Therefore this one is closed, to prevent spreading the votes across several threads, even though they vote for the same (or at least very similar thing). Votes are given back to the users who voted on this request. Please think of re-voting in the other thread if you still want it. * * * Rules for the Feature Suggestions forum section: - Please **search** before creating a new suggestion thread. - Only one feature per thread.
