There must be a way to do this other than the laborious method of creating a tag for each movie that you’d like to include, especially if your dealing with dozens of items to add to a collection. - a more automated way of adding movies to collections other than having to click the **edit** then **tag** links and scrolling down to the collections field, then selecting or creating a collection. I’m a big fan of collections as opposed to playlists (which I’m not even sure exist still). Something like the way smart playlists were created by selecting the items you wanted to add and then using the drop down menu to create the playlist. “Smart” or not, this would be a fantastic improvement! ---

Thank you ;o one thing I’ll point out is that the instructions are confusing. Here they are: ## Creating a Smart Collection **Requirements:** - Plex Media Server 1.22.3 or newer - Plex Web 4.56.3 or newer Creating a “smart” collection is much like creating a smart playlist: 1. Create a filter/sort based on the criteria you wish 2. From the Add To button or Save As menu choose Save as Smart Collection. Nowhere do they describe, illustrate or link how to actually invoke an advanced filter. or as it’s described here, a “filter/sort”. It doesn’t indicate that that command resides at the very bottom of the Movies/All filter drop down menu. So it took me a long time to figure that out… that said - I’m enjoying organizing my deia with collections and smart collections. ---

Just wanted to say - advanced filters and smart collections are THE BOMB. Amazing - I’m having fun now organizing my media collection! ---
