Is there a way to create a smart playlist that contains multiple shows, and plays the first unwatched episode of each show. So, if I have three shows, it would play A1 then B1 then C1, before coming back to A2, B2, and C2. I know you can sort the episodes by air date, but that only works for shows that aired at the same time. If I want to rotate a few unrelated shows that aired in different years, that won’t work. ---

I’m interested in an answer to this as well. I’ve tried all combinations I can think of, also in this new custom filter menu, but I can not get it to sort it like that. It would be very useful for creating some kind of “TV channel” that could just keep going. ---

It doesn’t appear to be possible currently. There is a [feature request](https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/215576/feature-request-a-different-kind-of-smart-playlist "feature request") for it. You may want to add your vote by clicking ‘Like’ on the first post in the thread. ---
