# \[SOLVED\] Locked out from the server

I All,
i’have accidentally removed my server from the authorised devices from [plex.tv](http://plex.tv).
Now i cant reattach it anymore.
I have tried this:

I have deleted the 4 lines from Preferences.xml but nothing.
If i login sia web on my server locali and not via [plex.tv](http://plex.tv) i don’t have server settings avaiable.
How i can resolve this?

Did you stop the server when you cleared those entries from the `preferences.xml`?
Are you on the same subnet when you’re trying to access the server through its local IP address?

Sure,
/usr/sbin/service plexmediaserver stop
delete entries
and than
/usr/sbin/service plexmediaserver start
even rebooted my server.
And yes, i’m on the same network (the server is on DMZ and i’m on LAN but LAN \> DMZ is full accessible
i know, is strange.
I have also removed all the
/var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/
folder (renamed it)
but nothing changed…

I hope you know what you’re doing when placing your server in a DMZ… if not, that’s quite a gamble.
Your LAN having full access to the DMZ doesn’t mean they’re on the same subnet. You can only claim a server while being on the same subnet – if you’re not, you need at least to “simulate” that (e.g. by using a SSH tunnel → see related section in the [server installation](https://support.plex.tv/articles/200288586-installation/) support article).

Solved,
i have the server in DMZ from years, so is configured well but i hare right, accessing the server is not the same to be on the same subnet so i have ssh port forwarder and than i was able to link my server to plex.tv.
