Howdy all!
I’m trying to get my plex server back up and running (haven’t run it in several years).
Updated (and eventually did a re-install) to try and get it working but this has me stumped.
I’m fairly certain it’s not an issue with the remote access, as I’ve got my port forwarded and getting the ‘all green’ in terms of connectivity on the dashboard.
My problem comes from the fact that whenever I try to watch media from PCs other than the actual ‘server’ I don’t get anything, it just hangs on the buffering screen, but I don’t get any errors.
When I check the dashboard, the server shows the media being requested, and even shows the progress bar (it moves too like it’s being watched) but I get nothing on the other end.
But, this only happens sometimes, like somewhere down the line there’s an inconsistent connection, or something.
So, might anyone know where my problem(s) may lie?
Mainly I’m wanting to know where this issue is happening so I can (hopefully) fix it quickly.
