# Sonic Analysis keeps getting stuck

Server Version#: Version 4.84.1  
Player Version#:

I keep getting this repeating log. It looks like it continues, but I’m not 100% sure and then my activity bar looks as pictured below. I have tried to go back and figure out what files, and I can looked in the folder Music Analysis 3 and will sometimes have Music Analysis 3 (processing) as well.

Bad files by any chance ? I see a bunch of `Track has no audio stream.`. Example below …

Yeah I’ve tried to go thru each one that I can find and delete those. What I can’t seem to find is the 5 Albums in section 3 and album 466104 ( - ).

I have deleted any that had an actual directory listed.

Did you rescan and empty the trash in plex after deleting ? You might even need to [plex dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064) the album/artist.

So I verified that I emptied the trash and have done the [plex dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064) and still get the error as follows:

Can you please provide the media info about this track?

For it to say there is no audio stream makes no sense. The codec should be supported (?)

I’m not sure how I’m supposed to know what track that is though.

That’s not a file name listed in the parent folder of: Jul 25, 2022 10:36:28.067 [0x14d118402b38] Debug — Scanner: Processing directory /music/David Guetta/GRRRR (2009) (parent: yes)

So, I’m kind of lost on how to know what the file is and what the issue might be.

I’m going off the excerpt you posted. I presumed you were targeting this section.  
The only thing I see in this section is the lack of audio data track.

Can you perhaps give me the full ZIP file to examine?

The log should look like when performing analysis.

Please notice there is no `( Artist - Album name )` information.

The only way to find these files is by direct query of the DB.

1. Stop Plex
2. Get into the databases directory (under `Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Databases`)
3. We must perform direct sqlite query to find the title / path

```auto
sqlite3 com.plexapp.plugins.library.db
select title from metadata_items where id=466104;

```

From your logs, something in the Andy Griggs directory seems to be the problem.  
The query of the DB should reveal the exact title.

I’m not familiar with that tool but from what that shows, anything with `local://` is not matched at all.

Seeing that ‘title’ is blank confirms something’s not right.

Have you performed a physical (directory browser) inspection to see all the files have a valid size and can play?

It does look like there are some adjacent files (have the same 466104 ID).

do those titles make sense?

So the other files played fine, I’m not sure how I get this line corrected to stop throwing the error though. Is there a way to clear this line or two out of the database. I’m just using a sql lite browser to look at the database.
