# Sort order why is it so hard?

Hi All,

Thought I would try plex media for my stored movies, like a few people have commented how do you sort movies with the true title?

As in leave “The” at the start.

I can’t believe there isn’t an easy way of doing this. I’ve read about adding stuff to the preferences.xlm file and hacking the registry. Surely this isn’t the case.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes that is the only way. Since you are on windows it will be the registry.

Maybe I’ll just go back to kodi.
