# Specify domain and port

Hi,

Is there a way I can specify a domain and port in the form of [plex.mydomain.com:32400](http://plex.mydomain.com:32400) when enabling remote access. As opposed to it detecting the public ip address. I am hoping there is some configuration I can edit as I am unable to perform this via the web ui.

I would imagine in the UI it would be as simple as;  
Manually specify public port  
**Manually specify domain name**

But in the meantime, I will take editing a config file.

1. Settings - Server - Networking - Show Advanced

- You can add your certificate to PMS (It must be aware of it)  
– User cert P12 files must include the CA.  
– Selfsigned certs are not supported.

- You can specify a customer server access URL which Plex.tv will publish with for your server.

1. Settiings - Server - Remote Access - Show Advanced  
– You can specify the external port manually (the WAN port of the NAT)
