I’m only 3 days into using Plex with a Roku LT, and I love what I see!

Now, I was wondering if it’s possible to create some sort of plugin based on the iMap Storm Chasing teams… Websites that have this are [http://chase.tornadovideos.net/pages/full\_screen](http://chase.tornadovideos.net/pages/full_screen) or [http://www.tornadoalleylive.com/subindex/weather/maps](http://www.tornadoalleylive.com/subindex/weather/maps)

They all use this flash driven map and you can select each team that may or may not be streaming at any given moment, so I wonder if it’s even possible, but it sure would make a great channel (I’d think).

I’d love to learn how to do a plugin about this, but I’m fairly rusty with my programming skills, and not sure how to go about doing it, but I’d love to learn!

Anyways, Plex is great, keep up the great work, and I’ll keep an eye out for any replies.

Thanks!

I see 17 views, so I know you people are out there. 🙂

If this is impossible, I’d understand, I’m just curious.

Interactive Flash Apps like those sites are not really compatible with the plugin framework.

Reviving an old thread. I’m curious if anything has changed that might allow one to build a channel. I also have some programming experience, but will need some guidance /help.

Some more sites to see chasers

They have a mobile app as well. Pretty cool stuff…
