# Strange NVidia Sheild playback problem

I have a rather odd problem. I’m playing back a video where the opening credits are 16x9 in a 4x3 frame but the actual TV program is 4x3. When I playback with the Plex PC client it behaves as expected with the opening credit having black bars top and bottom and the rest of the video filling the 4x3 frame. However, when I playback on my NVidia Sheild, the opening credit playback as expect, but the rest of the video is cropped top and bottom to 16x9 in a 4x3 frame.
The setup is not doing any transcoding on the playback server, so it’s not a transcoding problem.

Could you share a sample or the video that has this problem? I will take a look, it’s likely we are parsing the sizing information from the video incorrectly.

Turns out that I was being impatient and the 16x9 intro was longer than I thought, when it finishes, the 4x3 content displays correctly
