# Stuttering when playing 4K remux files

Server Version#: 1.41.6.9685  
Player Version#: 5.91.0 (Xbox) 10.26.0.2578 (Nvidia Shield)

I’ve been running a plex server on my Unraid server for a couple of years now and am recently having an issue where the playback of movies has slight stuttering randomly throughout. Happens on both the Shield and the Xbox. Both playback devices and the Unraid machine are plugged in with lan cables, no wifi. And I’m making sure that there isn’t anything running in the background to slow the drives or anything like that. watching the dashboard, when the issue happens the bandwidth drops down occasionally like the screenshot, this dipping is directly related to the issue, when the video is running smooth there is no bandwidth drop.

I’ve also attached the logs. The issue had been happening for a few minutes with the last movie in the logs (Transformers Dark of the Moon.
