What settings are you referring to?

- General language preferences for audio and subtitle tracks are stored in your account:  
[https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/account](https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/account)
  - changing the selected audio/subtitle track for an item of your library will not change those default settings or apply to other movies/episodes

- Client specific preferences should persist (e.g. `Subtitle Color` and `Subtitle Size` in `Settings` \> `Video`). Keep in mind those only apply to text-based subtitles (e.g. SRT)

Still not getting your point – maybe it’s just one of those weekends where I’m not keeping up 😉

You’re setting/changing those preferences and Plex forgets them when you open the app again or are they not being applied for some movies?

Excuse me. I found out. I was changing these settings in the options during the film. I changed the settings on the main screen and it worked.
