So I’ve been looking for a way to download subtitles in Plex for movies/shows that don’t have subtitles yet. I’ve read page after pages about all sorts of plugins, then I found an article that says that plugins like that no longer work, etc.
I think it’s rather a lot of money to pay for a pass just to be able to look for subtitles since these subtitles are free.
Can someone help me with this?

I did that. Enabled Opensubtitles and filled in my account information and renewed all the metadata from my movies and shows. I do not get the option to download subs.

Well I can enable subtitles but then they are used through the whole movie instead of only where they are needed

On-demand subtitles are a Plex pass feature.

Yeah, I’m not going to pay 5 euro’s a month just for subtitles which are pretty much always free. I’d be better off moving to Kodi then, which have plenty of plugins for that.

Hi I have a further question regarding On-demand subtitles. If I have a plex-pass and have on-demand subtitles, does it mean that all users of my server, also then gain access to on-demand subtitles for my media, or will they also require a plex-pass to be able to use that function for my content?
